Uralsk Transformer Plant sends 95% of its products abroad
Support for export-oriented projects of domestic business is one of key goals of infrastructure development of the Nurly Zhol program. Thanks to this, the Uralsk Transformer Plant, which was launched three years ago, today sends 95% of its products abroad. Last year, the company shipped 4,000 power transformers to Russia. The enterprise conducts orders of the neighboring regions, too. The company and large subsoil users in Tengiz and Karachaganak signed contracts.
ALIYA KOZHANOVA, BRIGADIER OF SITE:
- We have many customers. They buy our transformers. The transformers are of good quality and the examination is constantly carried out. This is very pleasing, we are glad that we have work to do.
The production of dry transformers has been mastered. The set of electrical equipment production has been launched together with Turkish investors. The sales market is also expanding: the contract was concluded with the Armenianelectricity grid company for 120 million tenge and a third of the order has already been sent. The state provides huge support to the enterprise in the promotion and advertising of products.Pre-export financing is granted by the state, too.
AMIR GALIMOV, SALES DIRECTOR, URALSK TRANSFORMER PLANT:
- This tool allows us to ensure export transactions. Since exports are mostly shipped with a deferred payment, this is a big risk for us, for the producers. We can reduce risks and ensure shipment with the help of Kazakh export's tools.
