The Kazakh-Chinese tourist forum was held in Beijing

The Kazakh-Chinese tourist forum was held in Beijing. Representatives of 50 local tour operators and more than 300 companies of China discussed prospects for cooperation. The participants got acquainted with the tourist potential of Kazakhstan’s regions and talked about what places Chinese travelers prefer for recreation. For example, Dan Hajnun admires the unique Kazakh landscapes and especially, the clean air. She believes that these places should visit every traveler. Today, ecotourism is what the vacationers choose around the world.

- I can say with confidence that this year will be fruitful for both countries in the field of tourism. Beautiful nature and the expo  will attract even more attention of Chinese tourists. In social networks and media, we did a great job to introduce our citizens to Kazakhstan. Now we are opening tourist visas for the first tourist flow.

 

Nowadays consular service of the Kazakh embassy in China is working in an enhanced mode. In order to cope with a large flow of people from China to visit Kazakhstan, diplomats expanded staff and introduced an electronic queue. In addition, terminals for receiving payments were installed.

We still need to develop a lot but I think our companies are ready. Representatives of fifty travel agencies came from Kazakhstan. All of them are going to cooperate with new Chinese partners by offering the packages.

 

Up to 72 hours a visa-free regime can be introduced for Chinese tourists in Kazakhstan. In three days they can visit any place they like including resort areas.

Today, Kazakhstan and China link 42 aircraft a week. In the near future a new railway will be launched with the route Urumqi-Almaty-Astana.
