Dutch Central Bank to move its gold from Amsterdam
Dutch Central Bank has decided to relocate its gold reserves from Amsterdam to a place near the town of Zeist, on the land belonging to the Ministry of Defense. According to the official figures, nearly 189 tons of gold are currently stored in Amsterdam, but the bank has the total reserves of 612 tons of gold. State reserves are usually stored in several central banks around the world to reduce risks. The Dutch reserves will be moved to the complex that will be constructed in the beginning of 2022.
