Shell may cut 2,000 jobs in Netherlands
British-Dutch Oil Company Royal Dutch Shell Plc plans to cut 2,000 jobs in the Netherlands, Dutch newspaper AD reports without specifying sources. The company’s office employees with annual salary of 75,000 euros can quit by their own decision until 1 July. Shell confirmed the newspaper the information on the agreement on voluntary departure. Shell staff number in the Netherlands is about 10,000 people. Thus, about 20% of the company's employees can lose their jobs.
