Kazakhstanis actively interested in own credit histories
Kazakhstanis are becoming actively interested in their credit histories. In 2015, the First Credit Bureau issued more than 120 thousand credit reports, which is by 2.5 times more than in 2014. In February, Kazakh borrowers had received more than 25,000 personal credit reports (PCR), according to the press service of the First Credit Bureau. Rate of growth of loans repayment continue to exceed the growth rate of new loans. This is also reflected in the total portfolio of retail loans, which declined by 2.1% and amounted to 4.5 trillion tenge. The share of overdue loans (excluding loans written off balance) decreased by 3% due to increased write-offs by several Kazakh banks amounted to 19.5%.
