Kazakhstan's share in Asian Infrastructure Investment bank amounts to 0.7%
Kazakhstan will cover the share of 0.7% totaling $729 mln in the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Bnews.kz reports referring to the data provided by the Ministry of National Economy. Paid capital will be $145.9 mln, which will be paid annually by 5 tranches each worth $29.2 mln. The ratification of this agreement will allow Kazakhstan to attract long-term and favorable loans to infrastructure projects, the minister said. This, in turn, will positively reflect on economic development and expansion of regional integration in Asia. Priority sectors for funding are energy, transport, logistics, urban and rural infrastructure.
