German unemployment remains low since 1990
Unemployment in Germany in December 2015 remained at 6.3%, which is a minimum since the country's reunification in 1990, according to the Federal Employment Agency of Germany. The number of unemployed people in the country, taking into account seasonal factors, fell by 14 thousand to 2.757 million. Surveyed by Bloomberg analysts predicted at least a significant reduction by 8 thousand. According to revised data, in November figure fell also by 14 thousand, instead of 13 thousand, as was previously reported. According to the Bundesbank’s forecast private consumption will continue to grow amid significant increase in employment and incomes of population.
