China producer prices fall to lowest in 6 years

China’s producer price index (PPI) fell in July 2015 to a six-year low, KazTAG reports citing RBK and the National Bureau of Statistics of China. This figure decreased by 5.4% on a year last month, exceeding the expectations of experts, having predicted a decline of 5%. Thus, the new data show that the second largest economy in the world continues to face deflationary pressure and forces Beijing to take further steps to support its economy.
