- The Astana Economic Forum is the largest venue not only in Central Asia, but also in the global scale. For example, the issues on digital transformation or the digitalization of economy as it is called in Kazakhstan has been discussed. This has been successfully solved in Latvia for several years. Of course, another interesting topic voiced by President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev is educating the younger generation and the youth training in order to allow them to grab the opportunities presented in the modern world.
Experts are interested in the five global trends announced by the President Nursultan Nazarbayev at the AEF. Member of the German National Parliament, Andreas Jahn highlights the relevance of the five trends. He opined that the most modern trend is the energy revolution. The parliamentarian also noted that Kazakhstan and Germany have a single goal, which is to switch to clean energy.

- In Germany, we closely observed the Astana Economic Forum. Nursultan Nazarbayev highlighted five important trends. The first is digital transformation which focuses on our future. Germany pays a lot of attention to this topic. We live in a time when artificial intelligence, block chain and auto vehicles have become part of our daily lives. As the President said it is necessary to be up to date.
Renewable energy is no less important. Germany has long been introducing innovations and developing renewables. This can become our common topic and we can further cooperate in this area.
