By 2025, oil extraction will reach 104 million tonnes per year.
Last year, the volume of extracted oil exceeded 86 million tonnes.
By this time, most of the oil will be extracted at Kazakhstan’s major oil fields such as Tengiz, Karachaganak and Kashagan.
Four new offshore fields will be developed by a consortium of companies that are mining at Kashagan.
These projects will help create 35,000 new jobs.
This was announced by the Director General of the Union of Oilfield Service Companies of Kazakhstan.
This is the result of effective implementation of state programs.
The positive trend is observed in social and economic development.
