Absheron Peninsula, Azerbaijan. This is Gobustan - a historical and archaeological reserve. According to scientists, people appeared here in the Mesolithic era. 12 thousand years ago, between these rocks, primitive people took refuge from the weather, tamed fire, learned to live and prayed to the sun. Gobustan stones have preserved thousands of cave paintings that tell about the life, life and culture of the earliest Absheron civilization.
