Gold and foreign currency reserves of Kazakhstan’s National Bank amounted to $30.5 billion
Gold and foreign currency reserves of the National Bank amounted to $30.5 billion at the end of June and, peaked since July 2012. According to the Kazakh Central Bank’s Chairman, Daniyar Akishev, the National Fund assets reached $65.7 billion. Akishev shared some preliminary data on bank’s recent interventions. The National Bank of Kazakhstan purchased interventions in sum of $2.5 million in the foreign exchange market in June.
