Eurasia and China intend to expand cooperation as part of the One Belt, One Road program. This was announced at the Eurasian Economic Forum held in Xi'an. At the thematic sessions, delegates discussed the expansion of the interaction on political consultations, financial cooperation, infrastructure, trade, science and technology, and tourism. Kazakh Ambassador to China Shakhrat Nuryshev also took part in the forum. As part of bilateral talks with Governor of Shaanxi Province, conference participants discussed practical cooperation of "Nurly Zhol" and "One Belt, One Road" programs, development of regional cooperation and business ties between the regions of Kazakhstan and the Shaanxi Province. The sides also talked about building up interaction in the agricultural, scientific and technical, and transit-transport spheres. About 4,000 delegates from 76 countries took part in the seventh Eurasian Economic Forum.
