13 people were killed in Typhoon Megi that hit eastern provinces of China. Another 20 have been reported missing. 2 million people have been affected as the typhoon spread to 16 cities and 107 counties in Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces. Residents of the most affected areas were evacuated to safer places. The preliminary estimate of the damage caused by the super-typhoon makes up over $800 million.
