Colombia's government and the country's largest rebel movement known as FARC have signed a historic peace accord. The agreement ended the Civil War that has lasted for 52 years. President Juan Manuel Santos and Rodrigo Londono, leader of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), signed the agreement. U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, the presidents of Cuba and Venezuela and the U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry were among those to witness the signing. 220,000 people were killed inColombian conflict, millions became refugees.
