At the Nato summit in Warsaw, the Prime Minister David Cameron said the UK is set to send additional troops to Afghanistan increasing the current number from 450 to 500. According to him, the extra personnel will also perform advisory and training roles but will not participate in any combat operations. Over the next five years the UK will annually allocate funding in the amount of $90 million for aid.
