Torrential rains in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China have caused severe floods and landslides, killing 35 people. Meteorologists say there is a threat of new landslide. According to them, rain will last for a few days. A day earlier, floods killed 14 people in the province of Hubei. Rescuers continue to search for 180 people missing.
