Next year Kazakhstan hosts the World Winter Student Games. The 28th Universiade will be held in Almaty. It is expected that the teams from 57 countries will participate in the international competitions. Tickets for the massive event are also sold in an unusual format. For the first time in Kazakhstan, they are sold in a system for 119 events taking place in eight sports venues at once. According to Games organizers, tickets for events are sold in Astana.

Nine sales points and three tickets operators work in Astana at present.

 

Tickets are available in other cities as well. More than 1,500 tickets have already been sold in Almaty. 60% of them have been bought in selling points and 40% have been bought online online. The total number of tickets for all competitions is about 30,000. Organizers expect revenue worth 200 million tenge. Strong teams from Russia, Canada and other states are expected to come and therefore organizers believe that the competitions will be spectacular and there will be many of those wishing to see it live. Visitors from other countries have already started purchasing the tickets online. The tickets are available online from anywhere in the world.
