The 63 kg sculpture - symbol of the Olympic Games-2016 has been officially established on the famous Brazilian beach of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro from recycled materials. According to local authorities the sculpture was made from processed materials for environmental purposes. Students and school kids have deliberately collected waste for this sculpture.

Brenda ISABELLA, SCHOOL STUDENT:

We used materials that we found on the streets. Waste management is very important. We made this sculpture to show people what ordinary bottles can turn into.
