Kazakhstani canoe and kayak athletes have broken records just recently. Athletes acquired 11 licenses out of 12 possible for the next Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Now athletes are actively preparing at the pre-Olympic training camp in Belarus. Then team members will travel to the Czech Republic and finally to the major Games to Brazil.

Askar KALIAKPAROV, COACH IN ROWING AND CANOEING:

We have taken 11 out of 12 possible licenses. This is an achievement of a hard work of our coaches. But most of all we are lagging behind the development of the training process. We have started to work together with the Belarusian team and we have a lot to learn. They will probably win at least 2-3 gold medals at the Olympic Games.
