The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) has suspended the Brazilian Doping Control Laboratory for half a year. This decision was taken due to the false test results of the specialists of the organization. The suspension entered into force on June 22. It can be appealled within 3 weeks in a sports arbitration court. Now the biomaterial samples that have been tested in Rio de Janeiro will be sent to the lab in Switzerland, as it happened during the World Cup in 2014.
