The first copies of the new ‘Local Studies’ textbook were published in Almaty

The first copies of the new ‘Local Studies’ textbook were published in Almaty. The integrated course will be introduced to the 5th, 6th and 7th-grade students starting from October. The new textbook is based on the ‘Tugan Zher’ state program. Students will learn the history, traditions, music and creativity of the writers from the native land. The authors said the new approach will play a significant role in the patriotic education of the students as well as instil the love of the Motherland and preserve the national code. The textbooks have successfully passed several stages of examination prior to publishing. It will also be available in an electronic version.

 - New textbooks are introduced as part of the Modernization of Kazakhstan’s Identity program. They are developed taking into account the regional features of the region and are aimed at developing the moral and spiritual qualities of students. The program of the new class includes topics such as the History of Kazakhstan, "Kazakh literature, Geography and Music. The spiritual component of Kazakhs is kept in these four disciplines.
