Research and educational project, the Kazakh Studies, has been launched in Kazakhstan

Research and educational project, the Kazakh Studies, has been launched in Kazakhstan. As part of it, Kazakhstan’s ethnic assembly will promote the Kazakh history, traditions and culture. The purpose of the two-year long project is to strengthen national unity, creating a sense of belonging and identity,  better knowledge of history and cultural awareness among the people of Kazakhstan irrespective of their ethnicity.

 - Kazakhstan Ethnic Assembly will hold the republican series of lectures in all the regions of Kazakhstan. Regional lectures will be held in Kazakhstan’s North, South, West and East. Later, our lecturers will travel to the regions and visit remote villages to promote the Kazakh Studies project. The main idea of our project is consolidation of the people of Kazakhstan through the establishment and strengthening of our common values, based on the values of the Kazakh people.

 - Bringing representatives of all ethnicities together for the study of the history and language of the Kazakh people can serve as the guarantee of stability in the country. Historical and holy sites form the national identity that unites the people.

Members of Kazakhstan’s ethnic assembly, as well as local governments and four Ministries of Kazakhstan will be implementing the Kazakh Studies project in all regions. Various events covering 10 areas will be held in all the regions.
