Saint Petersburg hosted presentation of the “Era of Independence” book

Saint Petersburg hosted presentation of the “Era of Independence” book where the meeting participants learned about the work of Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev. Experts said that the book is a genuine encyclopedia of state-building. The 500 pages of the book cover the history of the Kazakh people as well as difficulties that they had to face after gaining Independence and the ways they overcome the challenges. The book also contains goals and objectives that the Kazakh president sets for the future.

IGOR ROGOV, DEPUTY EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, KAZAKH FIRST PRESIDENT’S FOUNDATION:

- It is not just a historical analysis, which is certainly interesting for historians and the present generation. The book also generates thoughts about moving forward. It is a development program for our society and our country. Our president is personally involved in these developments. We are witnessing the reality of the president’s vision.  

Famous Russian scientists, public figures and ethnic Kazakhs attended the book presentation. Experts noted that Kazakhstan has achieved impressive results over the years of independence. Analysts said that the high economic performance contributed to the country’s success.

-The book covers Kazakhstan’s accomplishments proven by events, processes and achievements as well as the country’s honest and robust future plans. Participants of today’s presentation said that the strategies were quickly implemented. One such example is Kazakhstan’s plan to enter the top 50 countries by 2030.

A photo exhibition titled “Astana – the Pearl of the Great Steppe” was displayed to the visitors. The Kazakh delegation also discussed Kazakhstan’s program of political, economic and cultural modernization with the students in Saint Petersburg.
