Cooperation of publishing houses

Specialists from the National Translation Bureau, which is publishing a series of books titled "100 new textbooks in Kazakh», will work closely with famous British publishing house, Cambridge University Press. Kazakh specialists will have access not only to well-known textbooks, but also to technologies, methods and modern translation techniques. In return, representatives of the Cambridge University Press intend to translate and print the works of Kazakh classics in English and distribute it in the European countries.

-  With credentials and expertise of the publishing house, we expect that their translators and editors will help us in realizing the goals we set as well as in ensuring high quality and wide distribution of these works.

The Cambridge University Press has started publishing books since 1534. Both academic and educational literatures have been published, including research journals, monographs, reference materials and textbooks.

Cambridge University and its publishing house have long cooperated with Kazakhstan. The Cambridge University Press has been working with Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools for ten years. The university helps to improve the curriculum, publish textbooks and develop new teaching methods.
