Visit of members of European parliament

As part of their official visit to Kazakhstan, the members of the European parliament visited the Nur Alem sphere in the EXPO area. Co-chair of the European Union – Kazakhstan parliamentary cooperation committee, Iveta Grigule led the delegation. The honored guests visited the thematic expositions of the pavilion. According to the concept of the post-exhibition use, EXPO will become an innovative platform for promoting unique startups. Today, large-scale projects are implemented in the exhibition area, such as the Astana International Financial Center, Astana Hub, the Center for Green Technologies and the IT University. The members of the European parliament were impressed by the interactive exhibits of the museum that allow the visitors to directly interact with the content.

IVETA GRIGULE, CHAIRPERSON, DELEGATION TO EU-KAZAKHSTAN PARLIAMENTARY COOPERATION COMMITTEE:

- It is good that everything is interactive. Visitors can touch the strings of the national instrument and press the button to start a program about formation of the Earth. It is convenient for young people and students. It is necessary to visit this place for studies and attend all eight floors.

JOACHIM ZELLER, MEMBER, EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT:

 - It is really amazing what we see here. I think it is very attractive for visitors. It is as evidence what Kazakhstan can perform. It is modern architecture.
