Hungary hosted a Kurultai of the Turkic people

Hungary hosted a large kurultai, a traditional event of the Turkic people. The large-scale international event takes place every two years. Representatives of more than 30 nationalities met in the Attila square, where a solemn parade was organized with participants of the Congress. Traditionally, archery competitions, an ethnic music concert, craftsmen's fair as well as scientific conferences are organized during the kurultai. Representatives of the Kazakh delegation at the Congress spoke about the work of the Center for History and Cultural Studies of the Ancient Khuns, which was recently opened in Kazakhstan. The Kazakh delegation also invited the fraternal people to the country of the great steppe. Kazakhs also demonstrated their hospitality of welcoming guests with national dishes and sweets as well as to a yurt with colorful interior decoration.
