More than 7,000 microloans were issued to small and medium-sized businesses in 2017

More than 7,000 microloans were issued to small and medium-sized businesses in 2017. The total amount of loans was estimated at 32 billion tenge. According to five initiatives of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev, granting subsidized microcredits is the most effective mechanism for development of entrepreneurship. The president instructed to allocate additional 20 billion tenge and this year the total number of micro lending will amount to 62 billion tenge. The total coverage is twice higher comparing to the last year.

 - The focus of the head of state on development of small business in the countryside is very important to us, farmers. This initiative will help to give new impetus to this area. First of all, it will contribute to opening of new productions. I consider this as a priority for the rural business.

1 billion 127 million tenge was allocated to subsidize agriculture. Consideration of additional financing worth 2 billion 300 million tenge is underway. For example, according to the Business Road Map 2020 program in the Atyrau region 2.5 billion tenge will be allocated. The mayor’s office started developing a special plan for implementation of President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s initiatives.

 - Population of the Atyrau region found 5 social initiatives of the Head of State found useful. The appropriate action plan will be developed to achieve the goals. For this purpose, we have everything: administrative and financial resources. We need to show the unity of people, political stability and faith in the future.
