Comprehensive Chinese-Kazakh dictionary was presented in Astana
Comprehensive Chinese-Kazakh dictionary was presented in Astana. It was the result of the 10-year work of famous Kazakh scientist Duken Masimkhanuly and Master of Philology Ainur Abidenkyzy. This year, Kazakhstan and China mark the 26th anniversary of the diplomatic relations. There are five institutions of Confucius in Kazakhstan while there are four Kazakh language centers work in China. 14,000 Kazakhs are trained in China and 1,300 Chinese students have chosen the universities of Kazakhstan. According to the authors of the dictionary, these students can use the book as a reference, which includes 70,000 words and phrases.

Over a thousand pages include additional information about the history of China, culture, the national currency, as well as the names of cities and rivers. A transcription of sounds and syllables is provided for users to their convenience. Edition circulation is 2000 copies.
