The Astana International Financial Center has started its work

The Astana International Financial Center has started its work. The committee on regulating financial services has been launched under the AIFC. The committee will be engaged in licensing a wide range of money transactions, including investment and asset management. For the first time in the post-Soviet space, as part of the financial center a special jurisdiction with its own right and based on the principles of English commercial law was introduced. According to these standards, the world's leading financial centers operate today. In addition, an independent court and an international arbitration center have been established based on the AIFC, where commercial and civil disputes will be considered. The expat center was opened, too. According to organizers, it will simplify the process of attracting international experts to the capital. The one-stop-shop principle operates in the financial center which facilitates the process of issuing visas, registrations, obtaining work permits and other procedures for foreign citizens.
