Kazakhstan is interested in further development of trade and economic cooperation with Asian countries

Kazakhstan is interested in further development of trade and economic cooperation with Asian countries. Over the first nine months, the volume of trade between states grew by almost a quarter, to more than 13 billion tenge. As noted by the Foreign Minister, Kazakhstan is actively expanding cooperation with Mongolia. Construction of a highway between the two states is the main priority. The route will pass through Russia and China.

KAIRAT ABDRAKHMANOV, KAZAKH FOREIGN MINISTER:

 - Active cooperation with Mongolia is also related to the presence of the Kazakh diaspora in this country. This country is important for Kazakhstan. One of the priorities of bilateral cooperation is the opening of a consulate in the Bayan-Olgii region and the construction of a highway through China and Russia.

Simplification of the visa processing is one of the main priorities of Kazakhstan's diplomacy. Starting from next year, Kazakhstan citizens will be able to enter the UAE (United Arab Emirates) without the visa. Kazakhstan has already ratified the corresponding agreement. Now the document should be approved by the Arab country. The Kazakh Foreign Ministry is also negotiating with the European Union to ease the rules of entry and stay in European countries for Kazakhstani citizens.

MAULEN ASHIMBAYEV, MEMBER OF MAZHILIS, KAZAKH PARLIAMENT:

 - The European Union notified about its readiness to consider this question. The fact that such question is taken into consideration is a big advancement.

Kazakhstan and China are actively developing strategic partnership. China has invested more than $14 billion in Kazakhstan in the past 10 years. The countries maintain interaction at all levels and spheres.

TALGAT MUKHTAROV, KAZAKH VICE MINISTER OF DEFENSE:

 - China provided technical assistance to Kazakhstan in the amount of 100 million Yuan. In addition, we purchase weapons in this country, in particular, unmanned aerial vehicles and other equipment.

Kazakhstan is also aimed at deepening mutually beneficial strategic partnership with Japan and South Korea. Close cooperation with Asian countries will bring real economic dividends, experts say. At present, the share of Asian countries in the world economy is 34%. The growth dynamics allows us to predict that by 2030 this figure may reach the level of 42%.
