The first Expo camp will open 30 kilometers away from Astana in Arnasai village. It is a technological camp where teenagers will study green technologies, create phyto-design zones, and grow organic plants. Students of Nazarbayev Intellectual School   were first to visit the camp.

AIDA ABLAYEVA, PARTICIPANT:

 - Our lessons are devoted to green technologies, alternative sources of energy. We also develop them here. For instance, we learnt about different methods of irrigations, various technologies and beneficial bacteria.

The camp will operate the whole summer. Nearly 2,500 school students will be able to visit and learn about green technologies. They also will visit Astana Expo 2017.

SALTANAT RAKHIMBEKOVA, CHAIRWOMAN, COALITION FOR GREEN ECONOMY AND DEVELOPMENT OF G-GLOBAL:

 - This camp was created to bring up a young generation of green technology developers in Kazakhstan. We have created all necessary conditions for that: drip irrigation, hydrogel, aqua fiber, bio humus. Our school students will be technologically literate. There is a wonderful forest and water reservoirs in Arnasai so children will go on trekking as well and enjoy the nature.

Arnasai is the first Kazakhstani eco-village. Almost every farm will use over 30 green technologies. The eco-village is a part of Expo tourist map.
