Turkish specialists came to Astana to share best practices with Kazakhstani vocational college instructors. Several weeks training brought together nearly 100 educators  from across Kazakhstan.

 

NASSYMZHAN OSPANOVA, DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR, KAZAKH MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND SCIENCE:

 - Trainings provide theory followed by practical exercises. The training will be held for professionals in catering, organizing receptions, and the hotel business. The training will concern staff communication and interaction with guests.

 

ALI IHSAN CAGLAR, TIKA KAZAKHSTAN COORDINATOR:

 - This project will be continued, today we are holding seminars for tourism personnel. In the future, trainings are planned to be held for small business representatives. We will build our joint work based on trends in the priority areas of Kazakhstan’s economy.

 

The instructors will receive international certificates after the training. Such experience will improve the quality of services and contribute to the development of the tourism industry ahead of the international exhibition EXPO 2017, say the project organisers.
