Beginning of the year was successful for Kazakhstan's automotive industry. Compared with January 2016, production volume of passenger cars grew by 68%. The lion's share in this indicator falls on industry leader, Ust-Kamenogorsk plant «Asia Auto». Only the first month of 2017, they sold about six cars. Some of them went to conquer the Chinese market. The first shipment has already been made  from Ust-Kamenogorsk. Automakers call this as a historic moment. By the way, foreign consumers like the Kazakh SUVs. Meanwhile, at the end of the year, the volume of car deliveries from Kazakhstan to China can increase to three and a half thousand units. For timely delivery of cars, the local auto giant has already prepared 320 railway carriages and 27 transporters. The plant will export more than 10 percent of its cars.

ANDREY TOLSTIKOV, VICE PRESIDENT, ASIA AUTO JSC:

In fact, I think the Chinese market is regarded not as a country, but regard it as a continent. Therefore, there are unlimited prospects. In general, in the 2nd half of the year, we are planning to ship about 800 cars to our partner in China. In general, our plan for the year is about 3.5 thousand vehicles.

On Automobile note that could attract Chinese motorists, first of all, inexpensive, and secondly, high permeability and high quality machines. In addition, after restyling it became much easier.

PAVEL ALEXANDROV, MECHANIC:

There are heated front seats, electric windows, air conditioning, new updated bumper, plastic. It has become urban. The car has become much easier for driving, more comfortable.

Export growth gives new opportunities for Kazakhstan's automotive industry. Therefore, in the factory management is confident that they will contribute to the task set by the Head of State to double non-oil exports by 2025. In short, a major player of the Kazakhstan car industry has already started to implement the goals outlined in the government policies. The manufacrurer is developing competitive production and exports its products to Russia, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan markets, and now China.
