The Agricultural Competency Center of the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs summed up the results for 2016. About 11,000 Kazakh farmers gained knowledge and expertise in 25 priority areas of agriculture. As part of the project, nearly 700 seminars by foreign and Kazakh experts were organized at no cost to farmers. The trainings are based on the dual education system. Farmers were told about the experience of Kazakhstan’s best farms, they learned about the new technologies and bets practices in the industry. According to the experts, the specifics of every region were taken into account for seminars’ topics. The courses included lectures on energy-efficient agricultural technologies, methods of increasing crop yield and milk production, the ways to breed camels and red deer, and many other themes.


Mainly, we focus on the priority areas in agriculture, including beef and dairy cattle, sheep breeding, crop production, oilseeds, fodder crops, greenhouse vegetables. 25 foreign experts, about 30 domestic and 120 lecturers have attended our seminars.

The center provides additional services. A special online portal has been launched for remote consulting of farmers. Educational materials and video tutorials on a variety of topics are available on the website. Since the recent launch, the online resource was visited by about 50,000 people.
