Investment and bilateral trade will be discussed at the third meeting of the Kazakh-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council to be held next year. The event will be attended by the presidents of Kazakhstan and Turkey. The Council was established in the year 2009 and is headed by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Foreign ministers of Kazakhstan and Turkey met in Almaty discuss the preparation progress. Both Kazakhstan and Turkey have all the necessary conditions to attract investments and increase bilateral trade, the two foreign ministers agreed. This has become possible especially under the New Synergy program , which took off four years ago at the first meeting of the Strategic Cooperation Council held in Ankara.
