Kazakhstan's Ministry of Finance is actively implementing transition to the provision of its services into electronic format. The Ministry intends to create comfortable conditions for taxpayers to the maximum and to minimize its connection with the staff of the State Revenue agencies. 25 types of tax services are now available online for Kazakhstan residents. Entrepreneurs actively use cash registers transmitting data online. From the beginning of the year, payments worth almost 3 trillion tenge were made through 75,000 cash registers. Besides convenient conditions, this online digitalization also reduces the possibility of tax audits in the enterprise.

Erzhan BIRZHANOV, DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND MODERNIZATION DEPARTMENT, KAZAKH MINISTRY OF FINANCE:

Just 5 years ago, tax authorities implemented verification of actual income of many restaurants. Introducing online cash registers, a number of inspections, including checks and scheduled raids have been excluded. There is no need for inspections, as the tax authorities can see company’s turnover, receipt issue, average daily revenue online. This allows a full online control.
