Car recycling plants will be opened in Kazakhstan in six months. This was announced by the First Deputy Minister of Investments and Development Albert Rau. Three similar factories will be opened in Astana, Almaty and Shymkent. Collection points will operate in every region. Each plant will be able to recycle up to 10,000-15,000 cars per year. The recyclable metal and tires will be given the second life; other parts will be demolished in landfills. The project will be a leap in the development of domestic engineering. Production volume in this sector has increased 17 times in value terms over 25 years. Cars manufactured in Kazakhstan are of interest for buyers  in Central Asia, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Georgia.

Albert RAU, FIRST VICE MINISTER OF INVESTMENTS AND DEVELOPMENT OF KAZAKHSTAN:

We expect that the share of domestic cars will reach 35% by the end of the year. It means that Kazakhstan citizens prefer domestic cars.
