Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited the Israeli Embassy in Astana. President of Kazakhstan signed the book of condolences at the death of former President Shimon Peres. The Head of State noted about their long-standing friendly relations with Shimon Peres. The former President of Israel and Nobel Prize owner Peres died on the night of September 28. He was 93 years old. Shimon Peres has visited Kazakhstan few times.

 

Nursultan NAZARBAYEV, PRESIDENT OF KAZAKHSTAN:

I arrived at the Israeli Embassy to express once again my deep condolences on the death of the great son of the people of Israel, Shimon Peres, who served his people since the early days of the state formation to the last his breath. He was known not only in Israel but throughout the world. The man was progressive. His speeches were full of views of the future, ideas about the order in the region, friendship between the countries and assistance in development. Certainly, it is sad that such man passed away. We express our condolences once again and wish Israeli people peace, prosperity and strengthening of our friendship.
