Kazakh Aerospace Committee saved 23 billion tenge on pictures of Kazakhstan’s earth surface this year. KazEOSat-1 and KazEOSat-2 remote sensing spacecraft were launched 2 years ago. Since January the Committee provides the necessary information to state authorities for free. According to the President of the National Company ‘Kazakhstan Gharysh Sapary’, KazEOSat is useful in agriculture, in environmental and natural resources spheres. As for the other projects of the industry, currently the first in Central Asia assembly and test spacecraft complex is being constructed now. It is planned to be launched in 2018.

The advantage is that we are becoming the unique developers of space equipment and satellites including satellite testing, we have never had this before. There was an example: Australia spent 4 billion Australian dollars on land sensing program and received 12% growth in GDP.

This year we spotted all emergency and floods centers. All this information was transferred to the Committee of Emergency situations. We send the majority of shots to the Ministry of Defense and Foreign Intelligence Agency. Most importantly, remote sensing from space is used for monitoring and state control according all industry laws.
