Greek companies will be represented at EXPO-2017.  This was announced by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Roman Vassilenko at the Third session of the Kazakh-Greek Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Technological Cooperation. The two countries agreed to open direct flights to make it more convenient. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs said that the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Greece reached $1.2 billion. The bulk of trade accounts to export of Kazakhstan oil products.

Roman VASSILENKO, DEPUTY MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS:

We have great potential for cooperation in the field of tourism in both sides, as well as in transport, medicine and healthcare. Just today, we have signed a Memorandum of understanding on the establishment of Greek Rehabilitation Center. There is a great potential in the field of agriculture and food industry. Unfortunately, Kazakhstan citizens are not familiar with Greek products, even though they are in great demand in international market. Therefore, there is a large potential of Kazakhstan grain exporting to Greece.
