It is planned to open a Family and Childhood Support Center in Almaty. Ombudsman for Children Zagipa Balieva believes that it is necessary to modernize orphanages and create the maximum comfort for orphans. According to her, about 29,000 children are in a difficult financial situation in Kazakhstan now, and 8,000 live without parents. The new project will help these children. Experts are waiting for approval from the Maslikhat deputies. If a positive decision is taken, the sponsors are planning to do the job within 2 years.

Zagipa BALIYEVA, MEMBER OF MAZHILIS, LOWER HOUSE OF KAZAKH PARLIAMENT:

We will know that anyone can find help here not only those who are now in difficult situations but maybe some who experience temporary difficulties. We will raise the spiritual and moral levels, we will work with the cultural centers of the People’s Assembly of Kazakhstan, there are many positive goals.
