The supply of agricultural raw materials and food products from Kazakhstan to Russia increased by almost three times over the first six months of the year. Exports of machinery and equipment produced in Kazakhstan increased by more than 40%. These figures were announced in Moscow during a trade mission of 30 domestic manufacturers of food products, construction materials, as well as engineering and pharmaceutical products. Following the results of B2B talks, it is planned to sign about a dozen contracts with wholesale distribution companies. At the end of 2015, the foreign trade turnover between the two countries totaled US $14.6 billion.

Today, 70% of all exports from Kazakhstan account for the border regions with Russia. Kazakh producers are interested in expanding the supply market, to work with major Russian cities. Moscow and Moscow region pose great interest for producers, since the capacity of Moscow and the Moscow region provide the same need of all Kazakhstan market.

In the first six months of this year, deliveries of agricultural raw materials and food products from Kazakhstan to Russia increased by 2.7 times compared with the previous period. Metals and metallic products supply increased by about two times, and supply of machinery and equipment from Kazakhstan to Russia increased by more than 40%. Textiles, shoes, products of light industry are delivered in Russia. This is a good indicator.
