The new cooperation agreement was signed today by Deputy Prime Ministers of Kazakhstan and Jordan. The agreement is for the partnership between the two countries in the field of civil defense, emergencies, combat of terrorism and drug trafficking. Participants said it was necessary to increase the pace and scope of the bilateral relations. In this regard, the Jordanian businessmen are planning to open a plant for production of pharmaceutical and veterinary preparations in Kazakhstan and invited Kazakhstani oil companies to assist in the development and drilling of the deposits, as well as in the energy sector.

Jordan imports a large number of grains in the amount of nearly 1 million tons from outside the country, in particular from the United States, and they are interested to consider the supply of grain from Kazakhstan. And in this regard, they have built a free economic zone in the seaport and invite local companies to participate in the free economic zone and the creation of the grain Hub.
