Bulgaria is willing to participate in EXPO-2017. This was reported by Vice President of Bulgaria Margarita Popova during a meeting with Kazakh Secretary of State Gulshara Abdykalikova. Popova emphasized that the decision would be taken soon. Abdykalikova showed appreciation for the support of her country’s key initiatives and thanked the Vice President for participation in the international conference ‘Building a world without nuclear weapons’. The secretary of state also noted that Bulgaria was one of the main partners of Kazakhstan in the Black Sea region and the Balkans. The volume of trade between the two countries amounted to more than $112 million last year.

Relations between our countries are supported at a high political level. We plan to continue to develop them. This will help to improve our economic partnership, which will affect the investment cooperation. And, it will create new jobs and improve the welfare of the citizens of both countries.
