The main ethno-cultural event of the year will be held on a hill of Aktobe near the village Kenzhekol, which is of great importance in the history of the region.
Yermurat TLEGENOV, ORGANIZER OF FESTIVAL:
Back in the thirties, our ancestors gathered in this place. Some of them held animal sacrifices, asking the God to protect our homeland from enemies, hunger and steppe murrain. Therefore Aktobe hill in this region has a great historical significance. Now, during the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence, it is very symbolic that people come here again.
