First Green Technologies distribution center was opened on the basis of the Karaganda Agro-technical College. On the eve of the EXPO, which is devoted to the energy of the future, the inhabitants of the host country should be familiar with green technologies, say organizers. All participants will receive certificates.

Serik NUGERBEKOV, HEAD OF INTERNATIONAL SECRETARIAT G-GLOBAL:

We are going to educate the citizens, in particular the villagers our country to develop organic farming. We will introduce them to the latest and the most innovative technologies.

Students and teachers of Agro-technical College will show how these techniques work in practice. Design Bureau also is open in the College. They already have developed a wind-driven lift pump and a solar oven. The latest invention of College is solar window. This is a unique symbiosis of conventional windows and stationary solar installation.

Sergey ZHUKOV, MASTER OF LABORATORY OF TECHNICAL CREATIVITY:

They are placed on the South side of the house. We heated the water up to 70 degrees. It can already be used for domestic purposes. Such window will provide 100 liters of boiled water a day.

Wind installations, water heater and solar panels serve local greenhouse. Due to alternative energy, the nursery table, overhead lighting and irrigation system work well. College students have long learned to capitalize on energy from the Sun and, now they are ready to share the experience.
