The funds of the National Fund allocated for the program ‘Nurly Zhol’ are spent by 47%, announced during the meeting of the Government. Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov has warned governors and their deputies of personal responsibility for the improper performance of the state program ‘Nurly zhol’. In turn, the Ministry of National Economy will have to analyze how funds are mastered in the regions. Almost 770 billion tenge has been allocated from the National Fund for the implementation of ‘Nurly zhol’ program.

 

Karim MASSIMOV, PRIME MINISTER OF KAZAKHSTAN:

 

Administrators of budget programs must conduct weekly monitoring of allocated funds and, inform about implemented work every month to the Ministry of National Economy. I will consider the program on a monthly basis at a Government meeting.

 

Government discusses issues of attracting investments

 

Moreover, the Government discussed the issues of attracting foreign investments. According to representatives of the Ministry of Investment and Development, the volume of capital inflows will be at the level of $8-9 billion this year. The main interest for foreign business can be engineering, food production and refining industry.
