About 400 thousand tons of diesel fuel will be put to national agricultural producers. The preparation for harvesting operations was discussed at the Government meeting. According to the program of state support, regions are consolidated with refineries. The average low-cost diesel fuel accounts for 92 tenge per liter. Moreover, the Ministry of Agriculture intends to allocate more capacity to conduct timely grain drying.

Kairat AITUGANOV, FIRST DEPUTY MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE:

The price increase would not affect the agricultural producers, because this is preferential price of diesel fuel, which is lower for 15-17% than in the gas station. Therefore, there should be no concern; they must promptly select the amount.

In general, it’s expected to yield grain harvest from 11 million hectares. This is nore than 70% of the total cultivated area. According to the Ministry of Agriculture, more than 14 thousand harvesters will take part in the campaign.
