Erlan IDRISSOV, KAZAKH MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS:

The Agreement will enter into force after its ratification by the major countries, which make "major" contribution to greenhouse gas emissions. Therefore, everything depends on the coordinated ratification of the document, so that it entered into force. So I hope that with the support of the Government and the Parliament of our country, Kazakhstan will become an example of a quick ratification of the agreement and will encourage other key states so that the document comes into force and begins to operate. It has fundamental importance.
